Lebanese Community Development Manager / Marketing Role – Full time

Western Union are recruiting for a full time Community Development Manager to work
within their Sydney Marketing Team. This particular role will see the Community
Development Manager working directly with the Australian Lebanese community and the
successful applicant is expected to already have an existing network and key relationships
established with influencing members of this community.
This is a marketing and business development role so applicants are expected to have a
marketing and/or sales background.
The role is diverse, candidates need to be equally comfortable working within an office
environment, developing marketing activity plans and effectively managing budgets
through to pitching the Western Union proposition to a retail location, engaging with the
community at a grass roots event and even presenting on stage at such an event.
The position will be Sydney based and will require flexibility around work hours as there
will be some evening and weekend work. It will also include extensive travel within
Australia. There may also be the opportunity for international travel.
Start date: Immediate
Experience/Qualifications required;
University Graduate Ideally 5+ years experience within a sales and/or marketing role
Fluent in English and Arabic (both written and verbal)
Drivers Licence and Car
