Jordanian House Speaker and Hungarian Ambassador discuss ties

The Speaker of the Jordanian Lower House of Parliament, Atef Tarawneh, met with the Hungarian Ambassador to Jordan, Chaba Tsebeera, and discussed bilateral ties and other issues of common interest.

According to the Petra News Agency, Tarawneh said that Jordan, under the leadership of King Abdullah II, is keen to strengthen ties with Hungary, mainly in utilities, renewable energy, railways, tourism and cultural fields.

He also praised the ambassador’s efforts to boost relations between the two countries, mainly in parliamentary fields.

The ambassador in turn hailed Jordan’s role under King Abdulla’s leadership, in regional issues. He said that Hungary is in interested in enhancing its relations with Jordan in many fields, including economic, cultural and tourism.
