YESTERDAY FRIENDS ARE TODAY WORSE FOES

WRITTEN BY KALAHAN DENG

It is true that your best friend could be your worse enemy and your worse enemy your best friend. Having said that, this world is full of all sorts of wonders that make us pause and speechless for what is happening on American political arena.

Who could imagine one day that there would a war of words between these two best friends who have common interest in the city of New York? The Republican Candidate for 2016 general election Mr. Donald Trump and Mr. Michael Bloomberg Independent and a former New York Mayor and a billionaire who have been supportive of Trump’s successes in business for many years, but today he went wild on his partner in business and accusing him of being a deceptive and cunning man who cannot lead America into prosperity he is imagining.

All of a sudden, Mr. Bloomberg rebuked his former friend Trump during the Democratic National Convention that was held in Philadelphia last week in which he said, Trump has no clue on politics and he want to run America like his business, God save us from Trump.” He added that, “I’m from New York and I know a cunning man when I see one.” Think about what the former New York Mayor said about his closet ally and friend Mr. Trump. Do you think he is falsely exposing senseless accusations or voicing legitimate concerns to the American people so that they can be aware of  the hidden schemes and lack of political experiences with Mr. Trump?

You know, a man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Do you think there is a friend who is now standing closer to Mr. Trump? Well, better a poor man whose walk is blameless than a fool whose lips are perverse. I think the wealth of the rich is their fortified city; they imagine it an unsalable wall. Before his downfall a man’s heart is proud, but humility comes before honour.
