Hollande Says ‘Unacceptable’ for Cameron to Roll Back EU Principles

French President Francois Hollande pushed back Thursday against some of British Prime Minister David Cameron’s demands for EU reforms, saying it was unacceptable for him to overturn the bloc’s core principles.

“If it is legitimate to listen to the British prime minister, it is unacceptable to revise founding European commitments,” Hollande told reporters as he arrived for a European Union summit in Brussels.
