LEBANON, Conn. (WTNH) – Officials responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident on Route 87 inLebanon early Wednesday morning.
The Department of Transportation reports that Route 87 is closed between Goshen Hill Road and Waterman Road. This area is also known as the Trumbull Highway. The accident was reported about 2 A.M.
The single car accident is reported to have involved some sort of entrapment.
The Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department advises drivers that the area will be closed for several hours.

RT 87 (Trumbull Highway) is closed due to a serious MVA from Waterman Rd to Goshen Hill Rd. This accident involves serious injuries with reported entrapment. Expect the roadway to be closed for several hours. Time of Post 2:20am.
